Dona’s journey to success was one of many twists and turns. After a very successful corporate sales career, Dona took time off to care for her 2 young daughters. During that time, Dona and her husband parted ways. That’s when it came time to look for employment again. However, Dona hit a brick wall. She found it very difficult to find a job that was what she wanted to do and what would pay her the income she was making before. Through her faith and through focused effort, Dona was able to find employment but always found herself frustrated, living paycheck-to-paycheck, and with the feeling that there was “something more.” Dona’s natural gift of empowering others was starting to take over….. Dona quickly realized that she had a purpose, a vision and a dream, and working for someone else wasn’t the answer. She knew that there was more to life than just surviving. When Dona was laid-off from a job that she felt absolutely trapped in, that was her chance to break away from the herd into entrepreneurship! The choice was not an easy one because Dona still had to support her two young daughters and there was a lot of fear. But, Dona laid out her options and decided that it was now or never! Not quite sure what to do next, Dona took it upon herself to find a millionaire mentor to learn what it takes to run a successful business. Living just over broke wasn’t in the plans anymore! Dona immersed herself in books, trainings, audios, and courses on business, spirituality, success, and prosperity. Dona knew what she was learning can be taught to anyone. The only requirement was to have an open mind, an open heart and the ability to trust in the process.
Using a hand-me down computer gifted by her former father-in-law, and working out of her laundry room, she began applying the principles that she had learned from her mentors to build her busines. Dona quickly became a sought after empowerment coach as she taught other women business owners how to move from poverty to prosperity, both inside and out!
What Dona is best known for is her expertise in empowering and coaching women in building businesses that support their lifestyle and philosophy ensuring that their business revolves around them. Dona’s secret key to success is aligning your business with your passion, your purpose, and your goals.
Dona resides in Long Island, New York and is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Rebecca. Dona absolutely loves being a mompreneur and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counseling. Dona can be found spending time in her garden or swimming in the ocean when she isn’t sipping drinks with her girlfriends or traveling exploring new and exotic places.
